The PSC TRT-3P Extendable Tagline Retriever Tool is engineered to improve safety when managing suspended loads. When in its collapsed position, the tool enables operators to guide, maneuver, push, or pull loads into the final position, eliminating the need for direct hand contact and significantly reducing risk during lifting operations.
The inner aluminum extension pole extends up to 12 feet, allowing personnel to retrieve taglines from a safe distance outside the fall zone without stepping under suspended loads. Operators must maintain proper control and footing when using the tool. Note: This tool is not intended for use near energized power lines due to potential electric shock hazards.
Built for demanding environments, the main shaft is made from heavy-duty fiberglass, while the internal extending pole is constructed from high-strength square aluminum. It features the patent-pending Jiffy-Lock™ system, which allows secure height adjustment in 6-inch increments. The pole has been push/pull tested and rated to handle up to 175 lbs of applied force.
