The Challenge
Suspended load positioning can bring workers too close to the hazard.
During final positioning and landing, suspended loads can move, swing or shift while workers are trying to guide them into place. Direct hand contact can bring workers close to load corners, rigging hardware, structural members and potential pinch or crush zones.

LoadGuider® provides a purpose-built method for pushing, pulling, guiding and stabilising suitable suspended loads during positioning operations. Its design allows controlled force to be applied through the tool while maintaining separation from the load.

01 — Use During Suitable Final Approach
Use LoadGuider® during suitable final descent, positioning and placement tasks rather than during crane hoisting or long-travel load movement.
02 — Maintain Working Distance
Select the appropriate tool length and maintain the intended separation between the operator and the suspended load.
03 — Guide & Stabilise Through the Tool
Apply the required pushing, pulling or directional guidance through LoadGuider® rather than directly gripping the suspended load.
04 — Use Coordinated Control Where Appropriate
Where suitable, one LoadGuider® on each side of the load can provide coordinated two-sided guidance during positioning.
05 — Use With Approved Rigging Controls
LoadGuider® may be used alongside approved taglines and other site-approved rigging controls. It is not intended to replace them.
06 — Select the Correct Length
